Nicolas Prattes reveals that he and Sabrina Sato are engaged: ‘Partner of my life’

Nicolas Prattes, 27, revealed this Sunday (8) that he is engaged to Sabrina Sato, 43. The revelation was made on Domingão com Huck (Globo) during a chat between Luciano Huck, 53, and actors from the soap operas “Renascer”, which ended on Friday (6), and “Mania de Você”, which premieres on Monday (9).

At one point, Huck said that he loves Prattes’ “girlfriend”, referring to Sabrina. That’s when he corrected the presenter: “Now engaged!”. Until recently, the couple denied that a ring the presenter had been seen wearing recently was an engagement ring.

During the program, some actors were surprised with videos from their loved ones. This was the case of Chay Suede, 32, who saw a video from his wife Laura Neiva, 30, and Agatha Moreira, 32, who received a message from her husband Rodrigo Simas, 32. The same happened with Prattes.

“I thought it wouldn’t work out, because there are so many differences there,” Sabrina began. “In addition to the time difference, the age difference, the distance between the cities, the busy schedules, but it seems like everything has stopped for us, time has stopped for us.”

“Since the beginning, we’ve had a very strong connection and everything we’ve experienced so far makes it seem like we’ve been together for much longer than we actually have,” he continued. “Everything we’ve experienced, all the places we’ve been, everything we’ve done and everything we’ve felt together, everything we’ve made me feel is very special.”

“Nicolas, my love, I know how much you prepared, studied, dreamed and are now realizing one of the biggest dreams of your life, which is to do this 9pm soap opera, to be the lead,” she said about her beloved’s role in “Mania de Você”. “I’m here cheering with you, cheering for you, rooting for you, and I’m sure you’ll shine brightly. I’m here for whatever you need, always. I’ll be watching every day, either with you or far away, but watching you. I’m obsessed with you, obsessed with Nicolas.”

Prattes also declared his love for his fiancée. “She is the partner of my life,” he said. “I would never have imagined it in my wildest dreams. And she is the person who is upbeat, and she lifts us up together.”

Sabrina was married to actor Duda Nagle, 41, with whom she had her only daughter, Zoe, 5 years old. They announced their separation in March 2023. Her relationship with Prattes was confirmed in February of this year.
