Beatriz Reis did not make it to the final three of BBB 24, but she defines her participation as a victory. A trained actress (she won a role in the soap opera “Família é Tudo”), she recognizes that she has been earning a lot from advertising and, therefore, has been living a different financial reality since leaving the reality show: “If I wanted to, I could stop working”, she says.
The former street vendor says she has always been a thrifty person and remembers that she often gave up buying something to save money. “When I was poor and earned R$1,200 at the producer or R$50 a day at the stall, I would add it all up. If I realized that I would not have enough money to pay a bill to buy a cheese bread, I would not buy the cheese bread. I controlled every penny that came in,” she says.
Despite having more money in her account, Beatriz continues to be tight-fisted. “I’m even more cautious. I’m being extra careful. I know where I came from with my family and I don’t want to go back,” she explains. “I’m very proud of my story, of everything I’ve experienced, and I would do it all over again. I want to reach even higher heights, to also honor God.
Beatriz says that she invests most of her money and so far has only bought a car for her brother: “It was a dream, because last year I couldn’t even give him a television, let alone a car.”
She continues: “I haven’t bought anything yet. Not to say I haven’t done anything, I had a laser session on my face. I haven’t even had time to take care of my skin properly, my smile, my teeth, I’ve never done anything. But it was also due to lack of time.
