Emmanuella Plaka has been part of AEK’s athletics department since Tuesday. The Amateur Union announced the acquisition of the 22-year-old great middle distance champion, who this season won the gold in the 1,500 meters in the Panhellenic indoor track and field at SEF, the gold in the 800 in the Panhellenic indoor track and field in the Panthessaliko Stadium and the bronze in the 1,500 m in the Balkan Indoor Track and Field Championship in Belgrade.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Emmanuella Plaka. The 22-year-old athlete, born on November 6, 2003, is another addition to the athletics department of AEK.
In previous years, Emmanuella competed on behalf of GS Salaminas, Ayantas Salaminas and Olympiakos. In August of this year, she was the Greek champion in the 800 meters at the Panthessal Stadium of Volos with a time of 2:04.07. He also won gold in the 1,500 meters at the Panhellenic indoor track and field with a time of 4.29.65.
He also won the bronze medal in the 1,500 meters race in Belgrade at the Balkan Indoor Championships, as well as the silver medal in the 1,500 meters at the Spring Games.
