The hit Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’ will make a cameo appearance by the First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron.

Specifically, tomorrow, September 12, the second part of the fourth season of the popular series will premiere with the wife of the French president making a guest appearance.

Brigitte Macron’s guest appearance had started as an idea from 2022 according to star Lily Collins.

“The idea came to us when[show creator]Darren Starr and I met her at the Elysee in December 2022,” said Lily Collins aka “Emily.”

“She’s a huge fan of the show and took the reference to her name in the first season with a lot of humor. That scene in season four is a wink, and shooting it with her was an honor and a real joy,” he added.

Speaking to French Elle about Macron’s guest appearance, creator Darren Starr said she “has great talent.”

This is the second time Macron has played herself on screen. In 2018, he appeared in ‘Vestiaires’, a French sitcom that follows two disabled swimmers. Earlier this year, it was announced that a six-part biopic titled “Brigitte, une femme libre” (“Brigitte, a free woman”) has begun production.
