The movie “The Slayer” by Eva Nathena – film adaptation of the novel by Papadiamantis – was chosen by Selection Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the Greek film that will represent our country at this year’s awards OSCAR.
According to the announcement, 6 members of the committee participated in the process and after the quorum was established, the members approved the film’s participation in the OSCAR process The Slayer, judging that it qualifies for a dynamic presence.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Selection Committee of the Greek film that will represent our country during the competition process of the OSCAR awards met.
