The Messinian natural landscape in the south-west of the Peloponnese, with its sandy beaches and the unique view of the historic bay of Navarino, will again this year be an important attraction for thousands of people of all ages and abilities, in its 12th year Navarino Challenge. From October 18 to 20, over 55 actions related to sports, the environment and education will be hosted both in Costa Navarinoin hotels The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and W Costa Navarinoas well as in the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros.

Road safety seminar “Drive Change Move Safe”
Led by the motor sports coach Thanasis Xoudras, the MOTODYNAMIKI Group will organize for the first time at the Navarino Challenge, the theoretical road safety seminar “Drive Change Move Safe” powered by MOTODYNAMIKI for high school and high school children of the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros in Methoni, Koroni and Pylos.
Diversity Day powered by MOTODYNAMIKI
Together with the former international basketball player and European champion, ambassador of the MOTODYNAMIKI Group, Dimitris Papanikolaou, a Diversity Day will be organized for the first time for high school and high school students of Methoni and Koroni in the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros.
Cleaning of the beach of Gialova

Cycling in Voidokoilia powered by YAMAHA
One of the most popular actions of the Navarino Challenge, the cycling in Voidokoilia, will take place again this year in collaboration with Navarino Outdoors. Fans of outdoor activities will have the opportunity to discover the unique Messinian land by cycling with their company on the top electric bikes of YAMAHA, a member of the MOTODYNAMIKI Group.
Donation of Books to the House of Tsiklitiras
The Navarino Challenge in collaboration with the MOTODYNAMIKI Group continue their actions towards society this year. Through the Library4all organization they will strengthen the library at the Tsiklitira House in the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros, in Pylos. Those in action on Friday 18th October will bring a book of their own in very good condition to donate and the MOTODYNAMIKI group is committed to donating the same number of new books to Library4All. The action of the Library4All Open Library will take place in the house of Tsiklitira, in the presence of the ambassadors of the MOTODYNAMIKI Group, such as Dimitris Papanikolaou, who will sign 20 books bought by the MOTODYNAMIKI group.
Rappelling & Climbing powered by The North Face
The program of this year’s event will be enriched for the first time with the action of the Navarino Bay Challenge (Rapping) which will take place on the island of Sphakteria, in the bay of Navarino, by the experienced team of Navarino Outdoors with the support of the top climber, climber and ambassador of The North Face Panagiotis Kotronaros, who led the National mountaineering team in the first successful ascent of a Greek expedition on Mount Everest. The action of rappelling involves the technique of descending from a rock with the participants enjoying the incredible beauty of the natural landscape and experiencing moments of adrenaline. All participants will be transported to Sfakteria in the comfort and safety of Elite Boats’ premium boats.
In collaboration with Navarino Outdoors there will also be activities for the little participants on the indoor climbing course Navarino Rocks of Costa Navarino.
Sunset Beach Pilates with Mantis Persakis
Beloved physical education teacher Mantis Persaki takes action again this year, presenting for the second time Sunset Beach Pilates, which increases flexibility, strength and muscle endurance, on the beach of W Costa Navarino with the dreamy sunset. The program also includes Pilates at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino.
Sunset Yoga powered by Messinian Spa with Efi Chatzigeorgakis
The yoga action that improves flexibility and mental health will be held again this year by Angelic Yoga Arts and will include Sunset Beach Yoga on the beach at W Costa Navarino as well as Yoga at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino.
Run to the enchanting Messinia
Navarino Challenge courses are designed to meet the needs and requirements of all runners. Participants in the run can take part in the 21.1 km powered by The North Face routes crossing the beach of Voidokilia and the lagoon of Gialova together with the Greek-American ambassador of Greek tourism Konstantinos Karnazis, the 10 km by the sea, the 5 km powered by Miele among olive trees and 1km for children from 0 to 9 years and from 10 to 14 years. The children’s race is held free of charge.
