Equity prices closed modestly higher in the first session of the week, amid limited trading activity and limited volatility. The shares of Alpha Bank, Autohellas, Lamda Development and Titan stood out from the high capitalization.

The General Price Index closed at 1,423.61 points, marking an increase of 0.31%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,413.85 points (-0.38%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 72.06 million euros, while 16,470,830 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.28%, while the mid-cap index edged up 0.06%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gainers were Alpha Bank (+2.62%), Autohellas (+1.82%), Lamda Development (+1.72%) and Titan (+1 .26%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (-1.07%), PPC (-1.05%), Mytileneos (-0.99%) and Piraeus (-0.70%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, trading 4,192,508 and 3,047,267 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 11.73 million euros and National with 7.49 million euros.

43 stocks moved up, 51 fell and 26 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Kloukinas-Lappas +5.52% and Mouzakis +5.34%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Attica Bank -10.42% and Xylemporia (p) -9.84%.
