Projota had his house invaded in the early hours of Tuesday (17), in Cotia, a city in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The incident, which was initially reported by the singer’s press office, was confirmed to F5 by the Public Security Secretariat.
“We came to inform you that the artist Projota was robbed this morning. His house was invaded and he was taken hostage,” published Faz Produções, the rapper’s agency, on Instagram. The statement also says that the singer’s children, Marieva, 3, and Otto, 1, were also at home.
In a note sent to F5the 2nd Police District of Cotia stated that it is investigating the case, registered as vehicle theft and home robbery. According to the police, the house was invaded by four criminals, two of them armed. The group is being sought by the police.
According to the police, several objects were stolen, in addition to a Subaru WRX 2.0 vehicle. The criminals also carried out bank transactions. On the same day, municipal civil guards located the car.
