The album is the actress and singer’s first release in 10 years
Jennifer Hudson revealed that her first holiday album “The Gift Of Love” will be released this fall. Hudson previously confirmed that she recently signed a new deal with Interscope Records.
Jennifer Hudson shared the album’s cover art on social media and announced that “the holiday season begins” this October in a trailer, in which she is seen decorating a Christmas tree. In the caption, she wrote: “The Gift Of Love. My first Christmas album will be released on 10/18!”.

According to People, Hudson sings classic Christmas songs such as “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole, “Winter Wonderland” by Richard Hiber and carols. She has also included a song she performs with her partner Common.
Hudson’s previous third album titled ‘JHUD’ was released in 2014.
