South Korean shooter Kim Yeji, who stole the show not only with her performance at the Paris Olympics, but also with her composure and unmatched style, will make her acting debut.

The athlete won the silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event on July 28 in Paris. Within a few hours, the videos of her shots made the rounds of the internet, causing admiration and deification for the Olympian.

The movie “Asia”, directed by Lee Jung-sub, focuses on stories of Asians facing racism and discrimination. Starring Pakorn Chatborrirak, Anushka Sen, Sean Lee, Daiyan Trisha and Jang Yoon-young.

Kim will star alongside Indian actress Anushka Sen, according to the company’s announcement, which says it’s excited to watch “Kim Ye-ji and Anushka Sen’s dynamic collaboration as a killer duo.”

As the Guardian reports, after the Olympic games, Kim signed a contract with the South Korean agency “Plfil” while she was photographed wearing Louis Vuitton clothes for the magazine “W” of Korea in order to promote her sport.
