Gusttavo Lima’s wife speaks out after singer’s arrest warrant

Singer Gusttavo Lima’s wife, influencer Andressa Suita, spoke out on social media after the singer’s arrest was ordered.

Although she doesn’t really talk about what happens, she published a biblical psalm in which she talks about divine protection, as well as photos with her children and husband.

“Where does my help come from? It comes from the Lord. The Lord will protect you from all harm and will protect your life. The Lord will protect your going out and your coming in, from this time forth and forevermore,” she wrote in one of the passages.

The Pernambuco Court ordered, on Monday afternoon (23), the preventive arrest (without a defined term) of singer Gusttavo Lima. The decision was made by judge Andrea Calado da Cruz, of the state Court of Justice, who also suspended the singer’s passport and any firearms possession permit the artist may have.

The singer is suspected of having helped two people under investigation to stay out of the country. The arrest warrant is part of Operation Integration, which involves influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra — also on Monday, the court ordered her release.

The singer’s defense claims that the arrest warrant is unfair, that he is innocent and that he will take the appropriate measures. “The singer Gusttavo Lima would never be complicit in any act contrary to the legal order of our country and there is no involvement whatsoever between him and his companies with the object of the operation launched by the Pernambuco police,” the statement says.
