Gusttavo Lima’s mansion blocked by the courts was once a meme; remember

Last Monday (23), the Court of Pernambuco ordered the blocking of all properties registered in the name of singer Gusttavo Lima, still due to the process that determined his preventive arrest on suspicion of having helped two people under investigation to stay outside the country.

One of these properties was already the target of jokes in 2020. At the time, the singer caught the attention of internet users after posting a photo in which he appeared in front of his mansion located in Goiânia, Goiás. It is valued at around R$50 million.

Without a caption, the photo caused a stir on social media, and the facade of the mansion drew pejorative comments from many internet users due to its similarity to the Havan store, owned by pro-Bolsonaro businessman Luciano Hang.

“And to think he paid someone to design this tacky thing,” wrote one Twitter user. Another said: “Gusttavo Lima is the first confirmed case of the tacky virus in Brazil.” “I can’t believe he lives in the Universal Church,” joked another.

In the description of the house by the company responsible for the construction, there is a reference to the neoclassical style of the facade, designed with details and a concept inspired by the architecture of the White House, “to meet expectations and do justice to the Ambassador”.

The mansion has a sunken living room, a kids’ home, a spa, an in-ground fire pit, a five-car garage, closets and a photography studio, as well as a 200-square-meter pool.
