Johnny Depp considers that his life has turned into a soap opera in recent years during a press conference for his latest directorial venture.

The American actor directed the film “Modì”, a dramatization of the life of the Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, starring Riccardo Scarbaccio and Stephen Graham. The film had its world premiere yesterday at the Sam Sebastian International Film Festival and will open in theaters on December 5.

According to producer Steven Deuters, Mr Johnny Depp he always expressed his gratitude for being invited to join the project, especially in the wake of his legal battles with Amber Heard.

At a press conference, Johnny Depp was asked how his own experiences compare to those of the protagonist.

“Sure, you can say I’ve been through a lot here and there, but I’m fine,” he said before addressing his legal troubles. “I think we’ve all been through a lot, after all… Maybe your life hasn’t turned into a soap opera, actually a TV one, but we all experience and go through hard times” noted.

“The experience allowed me to really be able to see and experience… basically being a giant toddler, which I am, and understand that when you’re making a movie at least, you have to be entertaining.” completed.

He was then asked if he would ever direct again. “I will never do it again. Never again,” he stated confidently but added, “Maybe. Sorry. I apologize. can” he reported.
