Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck face another setback in the sale of their marital mansion. While the divorced couple recently received and accepted an offer of $64 million on their home, according to TMZ, the potential buyers from New Jersey backed out after the death of a family member.

Despite the recent tragedy, the outlet reports that the couple is still interested in purchasing the home.

Although, with 64 million dollars, the Affleck and the López they will have a “cheap” from the sale of the house, they don’t seem to care. In fact, the former couple – maybe now – has spoken in the past about the exorbitant amount they have spent on renovating the property. They originally bought the home for $60.8 million — all cash — in 2023.

Lopez and Affleck first listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million in July after trying to quietly sell it off the market.

The property also features a separate guest penthouse, a caretaker’s house, a guardhouse, a spacious 12-car garage and parking for 80 vehicles. A source told “People” that the “Atlas” star was not thrilled with the purchase of the particular house. It was her husband’s idea and he was one “great compromise” for her.

Affleck moved out of their marital home over the summer and rented a house in Brentwood to be near his children. In the midst of their split, he bought a $20.5 million mansion in July while the singer is on the hunt for her next home.
