Sophie Turner spoke candidly about being a single mother. The 28-year-old actress admitted it has been a “struggle” to bring up her two daughters – Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2 – who she shares with her ex-husband, Joe Jonasfollowing the couple’s divorce.
Speaking to the British newspaper “The Sunday Times” about her role in the series “Joan”, Turner said: “If I wasn’t a mother, I don’t know if I could put the same energy that I put into it. It’s a big struggle to be a single mother. Joan isn’t dealing with it in the best way … but it’s amazing to see her really fighting for her daughter.”he continued. “It’s also very important for children to see how hard their parents work for them.”
