Gabigol, 25, and Rafaella Santos, 25, are back together. The couple, who had several comings and goings until they separated for good in 2020, used social media to confirm that they resumed dating, shortly after being seen showing affection and intimacy at an event in São Paulo.
On Sunday (6), the digital influencer and Neymar’s sister, 30, received guests at the launch cocktail of Akiwell, a brand of supplements and cosmetics that she founded with a partner. The Flamengo player arrived for the event after the 2-1 victory over Vasco for the Guanabara Cup.
This Monday (7), Gabigol published a photo with his beloved and made a caption comparing the two to comic book characters. “Joker and Harley Quinn type,” he wrote, referring to the DC Comics villain couple, who live between slaps and kisses.
Almost at the same time, Rafaella also spoke on social media, in Instagram stories. “For the curious on duty, we’re back,” she warned. The message ended with a laughing face emoji.
In the sequence, she even showed that she was with the player in the same car, with him driving. “My Uber is different,” she joked.
Also in the stories, Gabigol had already published other photos with Rafaella. In one of the images, he appears with his girlfriend and sister, Dhiovanna Barbosa. “My beauties,” he wrote.
Gabigol and Rafaella had already been seen together since the end of last year, but came to deny that they would have returned. Recently, he compared the demands of Flamengo fans with a relationship, after being booed on the field in the game against Resende for the Carioca Championship.
“It was a DR [discussão de relacionamento]”, he said. “No problem, no. It’s just like our wife. We fight, fight, fight, but we love.”
