Will Smith and Michael Bay aspire to reunite in a new production, almost three decades after their first collaboration in the film “Bad Boys”. According to Deadline, Bay is in talks to direct Netflix’s new action film Fast and Loose starring the Oscar-winning actor.

“Fast and Loose” centers on a criminal who loses his memory after an attack. In his attempt to piece together the pieces of his memory he learns that he led a double life as an undercover CIA agent.

The screenplay is written by Joe Hober, Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson. David Leach and his wife, Kelly McCormick, are producing alongside the star. Bay first worked with the actor in his directorial debut on the original ‘Bad Boys’ film in April 1995. The film’s commercial success led to the creation of ‘Bad Boys II’ in 2003, ‘Bad Boys for Life ” in 2020 and “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” in 2024.
