Daniel Craig he’s not naming names, but admitted he’s shot “terrible sex scenes” on the big screen during his long career. The 56-year-old actor has kissed the most beautiful women on the planet, including his current wife, Rachel Weisz, 54, whom he met and fell in love with in the 2011 film Dream House.

But while promoting his new film Queer, which features several same-sex sex scenes, Daniel said: “I’ve shot some terrible love scenes in my career. They are out there for you to see…”.

He hopes the scenes in “Queer,” based on a book by William S. Burroughs and directed by Luca Guadagnino, are more than that. “Sex is wonderful and messy and complicated and I hope we’ve been able to bring that to the screen, because that’s what happens in the bedroom.”the actor said.

Craig explained that he would not have starred in this film if he had continued to play James Bond, not because of the gay scenes, but because he would not have had the time or “room”. “There was a period of time when I did other work around Bond and then I stopped because I wasn’t in the mood to do it. I have to concentrate on a job.”

About the money he has earned over the years – just to play Bond he got 85 million pounds – the actor said: “You have to go where your heart leads you. I’m very privileged to be able to not have to work as much as I used to, but if I’m going to do the work, I want it to be that way. I want it to be the best thing I can do.”
