Lidia Brondi left home on Friday night (11), to the delight of her fans. A leap-frog presence at events and celebrations, the actress braved the storm that hit São Paulo to go to the theater with her husband, Cassio Gabus Mendes.
The two went to attend the premiere of the play “Jandira”, with Isabel Teixeira and directed by Marcos Caruso, showing at Tucarena. Lidia was respectfully approached by admirers, who approached her without haste. The actress has been a recluse since the early 1990s, when she abandoned her career. Now a psychologist, she was part of the cast of the original version of “Vale Tudo”, in 1988.
As anticipated in F5’s Outro Canal column, Globo surveyed Lidia for a quick participation in the first chapters of the soap opera’s remake, which will air in 2025.
His appearance in the plot would almost be like an Easter egg. The term is used to define hidden references in entertainment products that are not essential to the narrative, but appear to be discovered by the audience and cause engagement.
The former actress was grateful, but preferred to stay away from TV. Cassio, who was also in the original version, was not invited to participate in the new soap opera, at least for now.
