The annual memorial since her death Mary Chronopoulou was performed on Sunday by the “Smile of the Child” at the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro, Peania.

The organization as “family” and heirs of the beloved actress who passed away suddenly last year after a fall in her home, also took over the procedures for holding her memorial service.

Of course, there were also some friends and loved ones of her life, among them O Spyros Bibilasactor, President of TASEI and Member of Parliament of the party, Pleussi Eleftherias who also spoke to the camera of the show “To Proino”:

“I am here to honor the memory of a dear friend of mine who is a big part of my life. I don’t care about anything after a person’s death, whether the ashes are here or somewhere else. I am irreligious and I don’t believe in any of this,” said Spyros Bibilas at first and continued:

The wish to us was for the ashes to enter here, her wish in an earlier time to another friend was to be scattered. There are two desires at different times. So if we say that the last will and testament is the valid one, then her last wish for the ashes to come here is also valid.”

While in the same video, Makis Dellaportas expressed his distress at the absence of many people from the memorial as well as the separation of her friends who held a separate memorial elsewhere saying;

“I’m always here, this time without her, it feels a little strange. Nothing has changed, I just miss her, I miss Mary. Surely her last wish should be granted, the ashes to stay here in her home.

I’m sad that not too many people are here to remember her, but she is remembered anyway. It is sad that there were two memorials, I would like this to end so her soul can rest in peace.

It’s not nice that the friends we loved are split in two, Mary wouldn’t want that either. Mr. Yiannopoulos and the Child’s Smile is Mary’s heir and I have to respect that”
