There have been almost 90 hours without electricity in some regions of São Paulo. And the disorder has also affected celebrities who have used social media to protest.
This is the case of MC Daniel, who said on Instagram that he had to borrow a generator and that all the food he kept in the fridge would have been lost.
“This generator saved. It will do everything. I was taking a cold, cold shower, it was still raining. The meat had a bad smell. And for those who don’t know, fish need oxygen. Now with the generator you can change the oxygen and do everything”, he said.
Ronnie Von said he had never seen anything like it in his 80 years of life. He had been without power for four days.
“We’ve been in the dark since Friday [11]. It’s amazing that this can happen. I recognize that there was a catastrophe and an eventuality. We lost everything we had in the fridge. There are sick people who, like us, lost everything too. What I can’t understand is how a public service concession can be given to someone who doesn’t have the skills,” he said.
On Friday, after a severe storm, Eliezer reported that a tree had fallen on his property. “We are cleaning, removing the tree that fell on the house. Communication is difficult because there is no water or energy. But everything is fine,” he said.
On the fourth day of the blackout in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, around 250,000 properties were still without electricity on Tuesday morning (15), according to a balance released by Enel at 6am. On Monday night (14), 340 thousand units were in this situation.
According to the concessionaire, the service was normalized for just over 1.8 million customers and the teams in the field received reinforcements from Rio de Janeiro and Ceará, as well as technicians from other distributors.
