Dany Bananinha reports problem caused by silicone prosthesis: ‘It opened a hole in my chest’

Dany Bananinha, 48, decided to share her story of anguish with a problem related to breast implants with her followers. The Domingão com Huck stage assistant had nodules in her breasts, followed by a rupture and leakage of silicone implants.

Campaigning for Pink October, Dany described in detail the difficulties she experienced with the disease. “I’m going to share with you my story, my eight months of suffering and my victory. And reinforce the importance of always keeping our breast exams up to date. This saved me and it wasn’t just once”, said Dany.

It all started in 2021, when Dany had a contracture of the implant capsule. The problem is common, but needs to be investigated. When doctors examined the contracture, they discovered that she had two lumps in her breasts.

“In relation to my specific case, the nodule possibly arose due to breast milk, which became hard and came into contact with the silicone prosthesis”, explained Dany.

After undergoing surgery to remove the nodules, she had new implants inserted. “They only did this because they managed to completely remove the nodule and all the sebaceous secretion that was in my breast,” he wrote.

However, days after surgery, she began to notice abnormal swelling. “It started to create a blister on my chest. It got worse and worse, I sent photos to the doctor. Fifteen days after the surgery, an accident happened. I was driving and I started to feel a hot liquid all over me. That little bruise was just exploded. It opened a hole in my chest”, reported Dany.

“Because of this hole, what I feared most happened, which was the explant,” he said. “I took God’s hand, my daughter’s hand, who gave me strength every day to win this fight and I went in faith”, said Dany, who is the mother of Lara, 4 years old.
