Mariana Bridi, Rafael Cardoso’s ex-wife, came to social media this Monday (21) to speak out about the distance between the actor and his children (Aurora, 8 years old, and Valentin, 4). After Rafael said that he had been banned from visiting the children, the content creator stated that he complied with the court decision.
“For more than a year, two separate legal proceedings have been underway, both under judicial secrecy: one in the family court and the other in the Domestic and Family Violence Against Women Court,” wrote Bridi. According to her, the processes remain confidential, in order to guarantee her and her children’s safety.
Bridi explained that she currently has sole custody of her children: “This decision was taken by the family court to protect the physical and psychological integrity of the two minors until legal requirements are met and face-to-face contact with their father can be reestablished.”
“Right now, he has the right to communicate with the children on a daily basis, although he doesn’t always do so,” she said. “When my children’s father meets the requirements established by the courts, he will have the right to see them in person,” he also said.
The influencer also wrote that, in the criminal sphere, there is a protective measure in place to guarantee her physical and mental safety: “I have followed all legal regulations strictly, respecting each stage of the process to ensure that it occurs as planned, and that a fair and definitive decision is reached”.
Rafael and Mari Bridi separated in December 2022, after 15 years together. Rafael went to live on the farm he owns in Cachoeira de Macacu, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro. After the separation, some women claimed to have received advances from Cardoso while he was still married.
Months later, the actor met psychologist Carol Ferraz, mother of his youngest daughter, who was born at the end of 2023. The two remain together as a couple.
Last year, the actor was involved in another controversy. In March, he began to be investigated by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro for an alleged attack on the manager of a bar in Barra da Tijuca, for which he was convicted and reached an agreement.
