“I hope other women see these photos and feel all the love I’m sending,” the actress said
Olivia Munn decided to share with us the scars from her mastectomy, as she participated – for symbolic reasons – in the underwear campaign for the brand Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS.
Munn, who underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer last year, was shirtless as she posed with the scar visible on her left breast.
The 44-year-old star opened up about her ordeal in a video shot for the campaign, telling the camera: “Someone said this to me about breast cancer and it meant a lot to me and really moved me: ‘Welcome to the worst club with the best members.’ My name is Olivia Munn and I am a breast cancer survivor”she says herself.

And he continues with disarming honesty: “When I look at the scars or how my breasts look different or how my clothes fit differently, I feel so grateful. The way my body looks is just a representation of how hard I fought.
I hope other women who have been self-confident about their scars see these photos and feel all the love I’m sending. It’s really important to be part of an initiative that supports research and helps countless people affected by breast cancer.”said the famous actress.

In an interview with ‘Today’, Olivia revealed that she initially didn’t want to reveal her double mastectomy scars. “I was looking in the mirror and I thought, ‘I’m tired of being insecure about my scars,'” she recalled. “So I went to the Skims team and said, ‘How about you guys show my scars in this campaign?’ And we did it…”. Olivia and her husband, John Mulaney, have two children.
