Pamela Anderson is sharing more about why she left Hollywood for her native Canada.

“The Baywatch” star, 57, left Tinseltown for Vancouver Island, British Columbia, a few years ago in a period of reflection.

In an interview with Better Homes & Gardens in August, Anderson recalled that she “gave up at some point” and felt she “needed a change” before her move.

I don’t know what happened in the last few decades, but I now feel so far from the image of who I was“, he explained to the publication.

The “Barb Wire” star added that she also felt “very sad and lonely” as well as “misunderstood.”

I felt like I was really messed up, that my whole life was a bunch of mistakes“, he said.

Anderson didn’t share at the time what mistakes she thought she made, but she did describe what she thought people thought of her.

Anderson was a ’90s sex symbol after rising to fame from “Baywatch” and becoming a Playboy magazine staple.

She starred in the infamous leaked sex tape in 1996 with her then-husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, who she previously said was weighing her down too much.

The couple have two grown sons: Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 26.

Anderson has tried marriage several times, but is currently single. She had no more children.
