After the unique collaboration of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in “Deadpool & Wolverine” which was a huge success at the box office with 1.3 billion dollars worldwide, their fans have something new to look forward to.

As Reynolds revealed during a recent interview with Variety, he is working on a film in which he will star alongside Jackman under the direction of Shawn Levy.

“I spend the year writing,” he said characteristically. “I’m writing a movie about me, Hugh [Τζάκμαν] and Sean [Λέβι] and it’s not for her Marvel.”

The actor did not reveal details about the plot, but his excitement indicated that it is something new and unexpected that he will be working on for the next 12 months.

The project will mark Reynolds’ third collaboration with director Sean Levy, following 2021’s “Free Guy” and 2022’s “The Adam Project.”

It is noted that “Deadpool & Wolverine” took in $636 million at the US box office and became the 12th highest-grossing film in history. It is behind Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” while it took the title of the most commercial R-rated film by dethroning 2019’s “Joker”.

Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine” will premiere on Disney+ on November 12.
