“The reality of cinema has changed, everyone has bought 800-inch TVs. The prospect of a foreign film making the box office is smaller. The place for it to exist is at festivals so that it can be released strongly in cinemas.”
Meanwhile, the clothes worn by the artist at events around the world draw attention. The long, strapless navy blue dress worn at the same festival was designed by designer Alexandre Herchcovitch.

“I’m Still Here” won the award for best screenplay, given to Murilo Hauser and Heitor Lorega, at the same festival.
The film is based on the book of the same name by Marcelo Rubens Paiva, which narrates the writer’s memories about the time when his father, former federal deputy Rubens Paiva, was forcibly taken away during the military dictatorship and never returned home. The focus is on the figure of his mother, Eunice, played by Fernanda Torres, who struggles to take care of her five children alone.
