In this interview, they talk about each other with very tender words, revealing how their relationship began.

“I would say the first time I noticed Paula was when I saw her at the 2020 Australian Open playing on Center Court. I was kind of hypnotized at the time and I remember thinking to myself that one day we would be together,” initially said Stefanos Tsitsipas.

“I met Stefanos immediately after my injury. It was one of the most difficult times for me because I had never gone so many months without playing tennis and it gave me the happiness, support and fresh air that I needed so much at that time. The truth is that I felt very lucky that some light came into my life in such a dark time.

We are both very clear about our priorities. Obviously we want to take care of each other, share a house at some point but above all there is tennis for both of us. We have both fought hard to be among the best in the world at what we do and we should take advantage of that.
We are both clear and know that later it will be time to enjoy everything else as a couple,” said Paula Bandoza.

“Women fighters are the most attractive to me and the ones I admire the most. She reminds me a bit of my mother in some ways. I feel very comfortable with Paula. I feel extremely connected to her and feel like she is my person. I guess that means we are made for each other. And that we have this kind of connection that brings us closer even in conflict and tension” emphasizes Stefanos Tsitsipas while his girlfriend says about him:

“He is a person who stands out and has incredible abilities which is something I like. He is also very hardworking. He has very clear ideas about what he wants in life and I like that too. Besides loving him dearly, I admire what he does every day. We like each other a lot, we have a lot of compassion, we put ourselves in each other’s shoes and we listen to each other.”
