Argentinian-Spanish artist, Felipe Pantone, and his team launched an initiative to help communities affected by the deadly floods in Valencia, Spain.

The idea for the ‘Auction for Action’ auction came about after his own studio was destroyed by the DANA storm, however, none of the donations will go towards its restoration.

Instead, the artist and his team work directly with local organizations and relief initiatives, such as the Coloring the World Foundation, to ensure that donations reach the hardest-hit areas.

The auction features works by artists from around the world, including Ana Barriga, Okuda, Demsky, Jaime Hayon and PichoAvo, with many more contributions to come.

“Just as the people of Valencia have come together to help each other, I am making an international appeal to draw attention to this tragedy” explained Felipe Pantone. “Together, we can get a community back on its feet – a community that has lost everything and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.”

“Valencia needs us. Visit AUCTIONforACTION.art and help rebuild. Contribute, donate, donate, give via GoFundMe, share, spread the word. Every gesture counts and together we can make a difference. THANK YOU #AuctionForAction #Valencia” says Felipe Pantone in his post.
