Armie Hammer has opened up about his relationship with Drew’s mother and how religion led to a rift between them. Mother and son found together in “Armie Hammer Time Podcast” and as the actor revealed, Drew has a deep faith in God, which he tried to convey to him without the desired results for her.

Its protagonist “Call Me By Your Name” he explained that he set his limits early on. “It’s all about understanding that this is something so big and it’s part of who you are, what you are, and your purpose”commented. And he revealed that there was a period when they were out of touch.

“And really, we had a period in our lives where we didn’t talk at all, because I said to her, ‘I don’t need a pastor, I need a mom. And if you can’t be a mom and you can only be a pastor, then I don’t need that kind of relationship in life. I don’t need a pastor.” And we didn’t talk for a while, because you said, ‘That’s me.'”the actor continued, addressing his mother, adding: “And that’s fine. Everyone is allowed to react as they want, when the other sets their limits.”

He admitted that he himself has no problem with her relationship with religion, as well “everyone has a right to their own spirituality.”

“I think we are all spiritual beings and I have a thriving spiritual practice. I start each morning with meditation and prayer and a gratitude practice. All these things I have learned in my “recovery”. The point where we “don’t get along” is when I feel that my spirituality is not exactly like yours, so you try to either convert me or bring me a dozen books of the Bible or whatever because you want me to be like you. I think there is a problem there. At least that’s how I feel”Hammer emphasized. The actor first announced his podcast in October via Instagram, according to Us Weekly.
