Traffic arrangements will be made due to the execution of works on Vouliagmenis avenue, during the period from 9-11-2024 to 22-11-2024, throughout the 24 hours.
Detailed traffic regulations:
– PHASE A
Total occupation of the right and half of the middle lane, from the height of its junction with L. El. Venizelos and for 285 meters after that, in the traffic flow towards Posidonos Street.
– PHASE B
Total occupation of the left and half of the middle lane, from the height of its junction with L. El. Venizelos and for 165m. then, in the traffic flow towards Poseidonos Street.
– PHASE C
Full occupation of the exit lane (left) towards Sofias Vembo Street and simultaneous total occupation of the left and half of the middle with the starting point the southern break point of the dividing island of the directions of Vouliagmeni Street with the end point 110 meters after, towards Poseidonos Street.
– PHASE D
Total occupation of the left and half of the middle lane, before its junction with Sofias Vembo Street and for 295m. before, in the traffic flow towards Athens.
– PHASE E
Full occupation of the right and half of the middle lane, before its junction with Sofias Vembo Street and for 295m. before, in the traffic flow towards Athens.
Vehicular traffic will be conducted from the remaining width of the carriageway each time.
Restrictions that will apply to all cases of traffic regulation:
– All the aforementioned work phases will be carried out gradually and are not allowed to be carried out simultaneously, with the exception of the occupation of the left traffic lane and the middle half of Vouliagmeni Avenue in the direction of Poseidonos Avenue, which must be simultaneous.
– Reduction of the maximum speed limit, initially to seventy (70), then to fifty (50) and finally to thirty (40) km/h, at a distance of eight hundred (800), five hundred (500) and three hundred (300) meters respectively, on either side of the points demarcating the occupied space for its entire length.
The Police appeals to the drivers of vehicles to be especially careful when passing through the work sites and to follow the existing road markings.
