The Rock says he peed in bottles on set: ‘It happens’

Dwayne Johnson, “The Rock”, 52, decided to talk about rumors that he urinated in bottles on film sets. “It’s true. I pee into a bottle while I work. Yes, that happens,” the actor said in a recent interview. Annoyed by the constant comments about the episode, he decided to put an end to the story: “Come and ask me, and I’ll tell you the truth: it happens.”

Rumors about the matter came to light in April, when the website The Wrap claimed that the star peed in bottles in the studios. The publication also accused him of a lack of professionalism and of always being late on the set of his new film, “Operação Natal”.

Johnson acknowledged the delays during filming, but denied that they were almost daily and up to eight hours. “Yes, that happened too (the delays). But not at this frequency, by the way. That was an absurd amount. That’s crazy. Ridiculous,” said The Rock in an interview with GQ magazine.

The director of “Operation Christmas”, Jake Kasdan, which hit theaters on November 7, came to the defense of Johnson, who played the superhero Black Adam. “There’s a lot going on with him. He can be late sometimes, but that’s Hollywood, and it happens to everyone. Honestly, I’ve done three big movies with him. He’s always been great with everyone on set.”
