Kensington Palace has announced that Kate Middleton will be attending the traditional “Together at Christmas” event at Westminster Abbey on December 6. The Princess of Wales, who recently finished chemotherapy for cancer diagnosed in March after abdominal surgery, is gradually resuming official commitments.
This Wednesday (13) Kate’s team shared a video of the event invitations, a classic white model with the number of the member of the British royal family (“C” for Catherine). “Something exciting is coming…”, says the publication’s caption. This will be the fourth time that Prince William’s wife will host the celebration for 1,600 people.
The 2024 edition of “Together at Christmas” will feature performances by the Westminster Abbey choir, and singers Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean and Gregory Porter, who will perform Christmas songs and hymns, according to the organizers.
The decoration inside the Abbey was inspired by nature. “This year’s service offers a time to reflect on the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially at the most difficult times in our lives,” reads the statement released by Kensington Palace.
