What team is yours?

Regina Casé from Botafogo and Ana Maria Braga from Palmeiras must be excited this Saturday (23). It’s just that their favorite teams lead the Brasileirão table (the black and white team from Rio are two points ahead), and play decisive matches in the round. A mistake could be fatal, especially because Fortaleza, which has the support of singer Fagner, is running on the outside and is breathing down their necks.

Ana and Regina often post photos in which they proudly display their club uniforms, as do Flamengo player Carolina Dieckmann and Corinthians player Alessandra Negrini — both fanatics and stadium regulars. Anyone who has seen a game alongside Dieckmann, in fact, says it was a curious experience, given the actress’s nervousness and her wide repertoire of unflattering words directed at the referee and the athletes on the opposing team. Forget the magazine cover: there in the stands (OK, box), she is people like us.

Gil really supports Fluminense, and the chorus “Hello, Flamengo fans, that hug” was a subtle (and intelligent) mockery against his rival, immortalized in music and evoked by him from time to time.

Vitória, Ivete Sangalo’s passion, was doing poorly, but managed to win four of their last five games and are more or less in the middle of the list. This Saturday’s game (23) is against Botafogo, played by Regina Casé, Marcelo Adnet and Zeca Pagodinho — this is a leap fan, who says he “doesn’t care much” about football, but wears the shirt of the Rio club’s lone star.

Santos, to the joy of Emicida and Mano Brown, will be back among the football elite in 2025, while São Paulo (by William Bonner and Tony Ramos), and Cruzeiro, by Samuel Rosa and Milton Nascimento, are in the G8 of the first division, with no chance of the title, but with an eye on places in the 2025 continental tournaments. Just like Vitória, which can now dream of qualifying.
