Her memoirs Liza Minnellito be released in spring 2026 through Grand Central Publishing, will become a television series. Warner Bros. TV and Magnolia Hill have teamed up to take on the TV project, according to Variety.

Liza Minnelli is writing the book with her longtime friend and collaborator Michael Feinstein, as well as Josh Gatlin and Heidi Evans, while the series is being developed by Sam Haskell, founder of Magnolia Hill and the singer and actress’ former agent.

Alongside her entertainment career, the book and TV series will focus on Minnelli’s experience with substance use disorder (SUD).

“I am extremely excited to be working with Sam Haskell of Magnolia Hill Productions and Warner Bros. Television to bring my story to life in this special way” the legendary singer and actress said in a statement. “Sam is a dear friend and an invaluable part of my professional life, and I couldn’t think of a more fitting partner for this incredibly personal project. I can’t wait to share my story with the world. I wouldn’t trust this story to anyone but Sam.” he added.
