Kaibu Island, one of the world’s most dreamy destinations, is now on the market for a record £62.5 million.

According to the Mirror, this tropical paradise was the setting for a secret getaway for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The beautiful island in Fiji’s Lau archipelago is described by Vladi Private Islands, the agency handling its sale, as “the ultimate package” for those with several million in the bank.

It is characterized by impressive beaches, crystal clear waters, and amenities that make it ideal for those who wish to have their own paradise. It has three luxury villas, its own airstrip and aircraft, a golf course, and is the only island in the world to include a U-Boat Worx submarine. Everything is solar powered while a desalination plant provides potable water to the entire island.

“Kaibu is perhaps the most complete private island property available today. With the addition of the submarine and aircraft we are proud to present a package unlike any other on the market,” said Vladi Private Islands CEO Farhad Vladi.

In 2018, the magazine Hello! brought to light the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent a night on Vatuvara Private Island during their first royal tour.

Fiji’s Tourism Minister, Faiyaz Koya, confirmed the stay, saying it was a great moment for the country. “It’s a global event, so it’s amazing for us. They are a couple with universal appeal to everyone,” he had characteristically said.

The royal couple had visited the private resort as part of their 16-day tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, during which they managed to make 76 official appearances.
