Barry Keoghan opens up after being accused of cheating on Sabrina Carpenter: ‘Absolute lies’

Barry Keoghan shared an outburst on X (formerly Twitter) after receiving several criticisms about the end of his relationship with singer Sabrina Carpenter. The “Saltburn” and “The Sacrifice of the Sacred Deer” actor denied that the relationship ended because of OnlyFans model Breckie Hill. “I can only sit back and take it so much,” Keoghan began, complaining about the hate attacks he said he had received in recent days.

He said he even deactivated his profile on the network because of the comments. “The messages I received were not meant to be read by anyone. Outright lies, hate, disgusting comments about my appearance, character, how I am as a father and every other inhumane thing you can imagine. Destroying my character and everything I worked really hard for and I defend it”, he lamented.

Keoghan continued to lament and recalled that he is the father of a two-year-old boy with his ex-partner Alyson Sandro. “I want my son to be able to look up to his father, have complete trust in me, and know that I will be there for him no matter what. I need you to remember that he will have to read EVERYTHING about his father when he is older. Please be respectful to everyone. Thank you.”

He and Carpenter began dating in early 2023, and reports began circulating a week ago about the end of their relationship. However, according to People magazine, the separation was hit by speculation that the actor cheated on the singer, although neither of them confirmed the reason for the breakup.

Influencer Breckie Hill also used her networks to speak out and dispel the rumors. “I’ve never even met this man in my life. The only time I saw him was on my television, watching ‘Saltburn,'” Hill said.
