Discover the nominees for the F5 2024 Award in the musical categories: artist, hit and duo or band

What have you listened to throughout this year? Which artist or band appears most often on your playlist? To honor the highlights of 2024 in terms of music, the Award F5 brings three categories, to be defined by you, the reader. It’s in your hands to choose the best hit, singer and duos/bands

There are a total of 25 categories in areas such as television, cinema, music, celebrities, internet and much more. Voting is open until December 18th. The result will be announced the following day, in a live broadcast with the participation of the website’s columnists Gabriel Vaquer, Thiago Stivaletti and Rosana Hermann. The mediation will be carried out by the deputy editor, Vitor Moreno.

This year, the Award categories F5 are not gender-based. In other words, artists from all areas — acting, music, humor — are competing together, without distinction between men and women.

Third place in this year’s Brazilian Spotify ranking (she topped the list in 2023), country singer Ana Castela is one of the finalists in the best artist category.

Anitta, who recently released a new album in which she returns to songs in Portuguese, is in the running. A global artist, she also released the album “Funk Generation” this year, ranked by Billboard magazine as one of the best Latin albums of 2024.

The fight for the trophy will be contested by another champion: Liniker. Big winner of the main categories of the Multishow Award, she also appears as a finalist in the category.

Representative of funk, like Anitta, Ludmilla had a year in which she sang victories, loves and sufferings in her original album “Numanice #3” and also showed his talent in the pagode genre.

Representative of samba, Xande de Pilares paid homage to Caetano Veloso on the last album released and ended up joining the team of stars of our music.

In the best duo or band category of 2024, we have representatives of all genres: the country duos Henrique and Juliano and Maiara and Maraisa, the Brazilian rock of Titãs, the mixes of soul, funk and pop of Os Garotins and the MPB of Gilsons.

And the F5 2024 Award for best hit goes to… there’s another dispute that promises to be fierce — and for all tastes. The five finalists are “Caju”, by Liniker; the reinterpretation of “Escrito nas Estrelas”, a hit by Tetê Espíndola in the voice of Lauana Prado; “Macetando”, by Ivete Sangalo and Ludmilla, “São Amores”, by Pabllo Vittar, and, to finish, “Só Fé”, by Grelo. And there? Don’t forget to vote! It’s up to you to choose who stood out in music this year!
