-Have you ever felt in your life, when you had a hard time, that there was an angel next to you who protected you?

“Yes, I have felt the presence of my own guardian-angel many times in my life, next to me, especially when I fell from the platform where I was singing in Thessaloniki and “dived” from a great height with my head on the curb. My little one… went to my eye and I said “it’s gone, I can’t see!”. I went to death and came back, because surely my guardian angel was by my side and saved me. And I have felt many times that this guardian-angel of mine is by my side.

And I can reveal to you – this is the first time I’m saying this – that when I was about eight years old and I remember it very vividly, I had seen two significant – as it turned out – dreams. One dream was that I was in the sea, swimming and drowning, and a person in the form of Jesus Christ came, picked me up, took me by the hand and brought me to land! We were walking in the water and I wasn’t afraid.

In the other dream I saw that I was in a labyrinth and I was lost – a terrible nightmare – and Jesus Christ appeared, took me by the hand and led me out into the light. No matter how many years have passed, I have not forgotten these two images. I was shocked then. Twice I felt Jesus Christ take me by the hand. I describe very honestly what I saw and felt.

For me it is very important not to go to church only when something very difficult comes to you, but at an unsuspecting time, when you want to pray, light a candle and thank him for all that he has given you.”
