After a year and a half of concerts, friendship bracelet exchanges, stadium crowds and billions of dollars raised, Taylor Swift ended The Eras Tour on December 8, just a few days before her 35th birthday. This Friday’s birthday girl (13) reaches a new age consolidated as a great global pop star.
Taylor went on the most profitable tour in history, with 149 shows, six of which took place in Brazil. The singer caused a real frenzy in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in 2023, with packed shows and crazy fans. Unfortunately, one of them, Ana Clara Benevides, died during the presentation, a victim of the strong heat in Rio.
On The Eras Tour, she revisited her entire discography, which spans 11 albums. Among them, some stand out as the most popular on Google Trends. The ranking includes the five most searched, with the first places tied between “Red”, “1989” and “Speak Now”—albums that have also been re-recorded—, each with 23.52% of searches.
The podium is completed by “Folklore”, released during the pandemic, with 16.64%, and the romantic “Lover”, with 11.76%.
Despite having gone through crises — she fought with Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) and, in 2019, she lost the rights to her albums to Scooter Braun —, the blonde managed to get up and overcome the obstacles. Taylor reached the position of richest singer in the world with an estimated fortune of US$ 1.6 billion — or around R$ 8.7 billion, at current prices — according to Forbes magazine.
The birthday date coincides with your lucky number, 13, due to several events in your life being related to it. The singer has already spoken about the subject in an interview: “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first #1 song had a 13-second intro” , she told MTV in 2009.
