Warner Bros. has shared a 12-second clip on social media for James Gunn’s highly-anticipated Superman, preparing audiences for the release of the film’s first official trailer on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

David Corenswet (David Corenswet), who will embody the iconic superhero, also revealed through his post on Instagram the official poster of the film.

It depicts Superman flying looking up conveying a powerful message of optimism to his fans. The poster is accompanied by the signature music of the legendary John Williams, a tribute to the 1978 film Man of Steel and the unforgettable Christopher Reeve.

Correnswet is joined by Emmy Award winner Rachel Brosnahan as reporter Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The cast also includes Skyler Gisondo, Anthony Carrigan, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillon and Isabela Mercad, among others.

According to Deadline, the highly-anticipated film is slated to hit theaters on July 11, 2025, from Warner Bros.
