Disappointed in his plans to create one underwater dam near his mansion at Palm Beachis Sylvester Stallone despite the ire of the neighbors in the affluent, seaside area.

According to The Palm Beach Post, Stallone, 78, plans to build a dam on the beach area where his $35 million mansion is located.

What is presented as an environmental project has caused the ire of neighbors who argue that the “Rocky” project is not done to prevent garbage and algae but also to exclude uninvited visitors from the sea.

In fact, the Hollywood star has filed a request with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the US Army Corps of Engineers, with the latter announcing that “the general purpose of the project is to exclude vessels from approaching the property – with the algae to be a secondary concern’.

Neighbors reacted strongly to the request to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, which said they had until 5pm on Christmas Day to comment on Stallone’s work.

The “Rocky” actor’s application also included a request to lease state land due to the placement of the state-owned dam.

However, the relevant agencies are reviewing the purpose of the project to determine if the use of a dam is permitted.
