Even with eight seasons on air, Lady Night, by Tata Werneck (Multishow), remains beloved by the public. The humorous talk show won the popular vote and won the F5 Award as the best program of the year on Brazilian TV. The competitors in this category were Que História É Essa, Porchat? (GNT), Masterchef (Band), De Frente Com Blogueirinha (Dia TV) and Avisa Lá Que Eu Vou (GNT).

The victory is justifiable. With 30 episodes, the latest wave of Lady Night generated great repercussion with several interviews. The funniest of them, in the public’s view, was the meeting between Narcisa Tamborindeguy and Inês Brasil.

There were also cute moments. At the end of the season, Tata welcomed her husband, actor Rafa Vitti, for the first time. Other names like Maria Beltrão also appeared on the program in an unprecedented way.

Sensitive subjects were also addressed, such as in the conversation with Débora Falabella. The presenter revealed that she was a victim of sexual violence and cried during an edition of the interview for the first time.

“I thought like this: I need to survive,” he said. “There isn’t a woman who hasn’t been through this or who doesn’t have a friend who has,” he concluded.

The new season will be shown by Globo on open TV from January onwards, on Thursday nights, as has been the case in recent years.

A ninth season of the program, with production in 2025, has already been confirmed by Multishow.
