“May I ask you how difficult it was to carry the title of beautiful? Because you are a woman who grows and becomes more beautiful as you grow older. I don’t want to ask an indiscreet question, I don’t take it that way at all, but it’s what I see and I really like it” the presenter told her with Pemi Zouni herself giving an answer that surprises.

“I never took the title of beautiful seriously because I never liked myself. Now that I see my old footage, I say you were cool. I wasn’t happy about it because I didn’t like it. I always wanted something else, you know how women are, so I got through it without it affecting me. Now I’m happy about it and I say that you should be happy about it,” said the beloved actress and continued:

“My generation was anti-stars. Social media makes you want, yearn to feel like a star and that makes things worse. We were anti-stars because we had, so to speak, been educated, we had gone through good and strict schools, we looked a lot at the performing part. We snubbed the little guy even though we had done wonderful photo shoots, nice productions. That saved us. If you have the anxiety of the face and the beauty, then you crumble.”
