Around 500-600 far-right activists gathered at Hasselbachplatz in Magdeburg, following a call by the far-right AfD party, according to Volksstimme.
German flags, as well as Russian flags, appeared in the square and banners bearing the inscription “Homeland and Remigration Now”.
“Those who do not love Germany must leave Germany!the protesters chanted. “We are the people“, “We are bored” or “We don’t want asylum seeker pigs“, were some more of the slogans that were heard.
The Police intervened in a fight that broke out between two participants in the protest.
