The Hollywood star has been sending friends and acquaintances the same gift for decades: a… cake!
Specifically, it’s a festive white chocolate coconut bundt cake (the one with the hole in the middle), which she buys from Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California.
The “Tom Cruise Cake,” as it has come to be called, costs $129.95, including gift wrapping and shipping.
In fact, as stated by the owner of the bakery, Eric Doan, Tom Cruise orders hundreds of cakes every year, which he sends to his famous friends.
For example, Renee Zellweger, Graham Norton, Jimmy Fallon, Brooke Shields, Henry Cavill, Kirsten Dust and Tom Hanks are among the stars who have received Tom Cruise’s gift, praising it publicly.
Tom Hanks even said last year that Cruise – “god bless him” – sends him this cake every year and it’s the most delicious cake he’s ever eaten.
On December 13, Tom Cruise’s “Top Gun: Maverick” co-star Glen Powell shared a photo on Instagram, writing: “the Cruise cake has arrived.”
Also, singer Victoria Canal also got the gift of the star this year and tasted a bite of it on Instagram.
