THE Paul McCartney announced the goal he has set for the New Year. Answering questions from fans on his official website, the member of the Beatles revealed that he hopes to “finish a new album”.

“I’ve had a lot of songs lined up and had to put them aside because of the tour,” Paul McCartney wrote in response to fan questions. The ‘Got Back Tour’ began in 2022 and recently concluded with a concert in London.

“Well, I hope to go back and finish a lot of these songs.”

“The goal is to finish a new album!” he reported.

Paul McCartney’s latest solo album, “McCartney III” was released in December 2020. Several months later, he released the ‘McCartney III Imagined’ remix album with contributions from Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Beck and others.

Speaking to fans, the singer confirmed that he is taking a break and spending time with his family after wrapping up his tour with an appearance at London. “I’m one of those guys who likes to overdo it with the Christmas decorations,” he said, “so I need time to sit back, relax and enjoy it,” noted the English singer, songwriter and musician.
