Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, defends daughter from criticism after NFL show: ‘Unbelievable’

Tina Knowles has come to the defense of her daughter, Beyoncé, after online attacks from haters over her performance at the halftime show of the NFL Christmas game, broadcast on Netflix.

She shared a screenshot on Instagram of a person defending Beyoncé. The text stated that regardless of how talented someone is, there will always be people who have something negative to say.

Knowles echoed the sentiment, writing in the caption, “It’s unbelievable to me that you would use your precious Christmas Day to watch a performance by someone you hate and think has no talent, only to then talk badly about it.”

She continued, “Obviously, you are so obsessed with them, addicted to them, and secretly admire them, want to be like them, that you can’t help but watch, criticize, comment, and say ridiculous things that make you look like a joke.”

Beyoncé’s mother said that if anyone didn’t want to watch the performance, they could have watched something else while it was happening.

“PS: I learned a lot from her warrior spirit, that when they go low, I work harder ‘No weapon formed against me shall prosper’, one, two, three, waiting for fake profiles to appear,” she concluded.

Beyoncé took the stage at the Christmas game between the Texans and Ravens in Houston, Texas, last Wednesday (25). She performed alongside Post Malone, Shaboozey and her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

The performance began with a recording of the superstar wearing a white cowboy hat and singing “16 Carriages” while riding a white horse. Then, she started the live show with the song “Ya Ya”.

Blue Ivy teamed up with Beyoncé for her hit, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which was nominated for song of the year and topped the country and pop charts. “I’m so honored to be in Texas right now,” said the singer-songwriter. “It’s only fitting that we do ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ in Texas for the first time.”

After the performance, some people took to social media to express their displeasure with the halftime show.
