Million-dollar debts, engagement, success at work: what Ana Hickmann’s year was like

An intense, challenging year, full of surprises and lots of love. This is how, in this way, Ana Hickmann defined her trajectory in 2024. When participating in a trend on social media, in which achievements are celebrated throughout the year, she recalled the ups and downs she went through.

In December, the presenter received good news: her employment contract with Record was renewed until 2027, following the commercial success achieved by the channel with her presence on Hoje Em Dia. It was in the attraction, in fact, that she met her current fiancé , the cook Edu Guedes, in 2005.

The two made their relationship official in March, five months after the model’s turbulent separation from Alexandre Correa; Ana and Edu renovate a mansion to live together in Porto Feliz (SP).

At the end of 2023, she accused her ex-husband of domestic violence and bodily harm. Ana said she was attacked at home, during an argument. Two days later, she led the program in a sleeveless dress and showed the bruises on her arms.

With the beginning of the divorce process and the division of assets, Ana claims to have discovered that, for years, Alexandre transferred amounts from joint companies they had to private accounts, took out loans in his name and forged his signature.

The alleged movements resulted in millionaire debts in the name of the former model. The most recent discovery is worth R$8.2 million.

But there were also reasons to celebrate. His son, Alezinho’s 10th anniversary of his relationship with the businessman, was celebrated in March, shortly after the start of the new relationship.

With the end of the 25-year relationship, Ana became responsible for managing and administering her business and contracts (tasks previously carried out and controlled by Alexandre) and enjoyed taking control of her own life. “How sad will I be if this year I became my manager?”, she wrote on social media.
