Cardi B, 29, posted an outburst this Saturday (13) on Instagram about the racist speeches he has been hearing about the texture of his natural hair for being biracial. She has posted photos and videos of her natural hairs at various stages of life.

“Why is it that every time I wear my natural hair I hear ‘you’re biracial, you should have long hair’? That’s not true and very misleading,” said the rapper.

Cardi B said he’s been posting photos of his capillary journey for years. According to her, being biracial does not mean that the hair is always long and curly.

The singer revealed that she has faced issues with her hair since childhood, but that she has learned to take care of them with specific cosmetics for tangled strands.

“A few years ago I found different methods that work for me and now I look at my length. They’ll try to make us believe that our hair won’t grow that long, isn’t that true.”

The rapper explained that many products she used in the past were not good for her, but it was all she had to choose from and she didn’t have the money to go to the salon regularly.”

“Now everyone is having better options, good affordable products and learning on YouTube and TikTok about how to take better care of our hair,” he added.

Cardi B ended the outburst by encouraging women to love their yarn. “I want women of color with curly curl patterns to know they don’t have ‘bad hair.’ There is no bad hair, and ‘good’ hair doesn’t mean a certain texture. All hair is good,” the artist emphasized.
